Notice Title

Calder Valley Line - Wider Economic Case for Investment

Notice Description

To update and expand upon previous work on the case for significant improvements in passenger rail services on the Calder Valley line, taking into account recent developments such as refranchising, the committed programmes of infrastructure enhancements, demand growth and the emergence of the "Northern Powerhouse" programme. The work is to focus on the economic benefits that enhancements (including transformational changes) in the line's offer would bring, and strengthen the evidence base for such improvements. The material produced should be capable of use in support of a wider communications programme in support of such investment, and of feeding into other work such as Transport for the North and Rail North. Additional information: Interested parties should go to WYCA's e-tendering website which is at https://in-tendhost.co.uk/westyorkshireca/aspx/Home.
