Summary of the contracting process

The St. Helens Council is seeking providers for the "Young Persons Engagement Service 2019" as part of their effort to support disengaged and NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) young people from vulnerable backgrounds. This tender falls within the education and training services industry and is located in the North West of England. The procurement process is currently in the Tender stage, with submissions due by 6 December 2019. The total estimated value for this service is £1,300,000, and the contract itself is expected to commence on 1 February 2020, extending until 31 January 2023. This is an open procedure, encouraging competition among potential suppliers.

This opportunity presents a significant chance for businesses specialising in educational support services or youth engagement initiatives to expand their operations. Companies that offer coaching, mentoring, or training services targeted towards vulnerable groups, such as care leavers, young offenders, or individuals with learning difficulties, would be particularly well-suited to apply. Engaging with St. Helens Council can help these businesses access a broader market while contributing positively to the community by enhancing educational and employment opportunities for at-risk youth.
