Hospital Based Carer Support - Market Engagement Event

Notice Description

The aim of the hospital based carer support service is to provide carers with crucial information and advice to improve their experience during the admission and discharge of their relative or friend from hospital. This service is currently provided at the Ipswich and West Suffolk Hospitals however it is hoped that a service will be provided at James Paget Hospital to make it a county wide service. By supporting individuals to plan for discharge and signposting to relevant organisations it is hoped that carers will have increased confidence in their role. It is our intention to hold a Market Engagement Event on the morning of Friday 13th November 2015, in the Ipswich area, to give providers further details of our commissioning intentions in this area.
