Notice Title

Transparency Notice Only: Conductrr Software and Contract Support

Notice Description

Joint Information Activities Group (JIAG) require Conducttr software to simulate the information environment during individual training of media and communications staff; ensuring the training audience can train as they fight. The requirement must cover the provision of: - Conducttr software licence - Technical support - Development of specialist simulated training exercises 4. Conducttr fulfils direct defence outputs. Their software provides a uniquely powerful, real-time training environment with integrated social media feeds; this is essential to effectively simulate modern crisis communications and other media operations. Instead of relying on manual input, the content is automated but is also scaleable and can be adjusted in speed and intensity by Directing Staff (DS). This allows for degrees of pressure to be put on the training audience depending on how they are coping, ensuring the DS can draw out Key Learning Points The requirement is for provision of Conducttr software, technical support and scenario development. The contract must provide: - Conducttr Software Licence. This enable the exercise to be run from anywhere using the companies own servers. Exercises can be successfully run with only 2-3 JIAG staff and minimal contractor involvement. - Training Support: This ensures the license is maintained and upgraded and needs to provide 10 days contractor support to the running of JIAG exercises and ensuring that minor tweaks to exercises are made by the contractor. - Scenario Development. This will ensure that GREEN FLASH scenario is developed that can be used as a core part of JIAG courses (due to deliver in Jun 21). Scenario was scoped under previous experimentation spend but to deliver it in format suitable for use during JIAG training requires new money.
