Notice Description

The Council wishes to establish a Contract for the provision of owner-controlled insurance for the redevelopment of the Alexander Stadium to cover the construction and all liabilities arising from the project. The scope and specification will cover the following: o Owner Controlled Insurance policy to be purchased to include: o Property and Construction All Risks o Delay in start up o Public Liability of all contractors and sub-contractors o Property Owners Liability o Terrorism The Contract will last from October 2020 with cover required until the stadium is handed over to the Commonwealth Games Committee. The contract will be awarded to one supplier. The Council will be using its free to use e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and potential suppliers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
