This is not a call for Competition. This is an Advert for Soft Market Testing to gauge market interest which will influence future Commissioning and Procurement Direction. NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (MLCSU) on behalf of NHS Shropshire Clinical Commissioning Group, (the CCG) are seeking to understand if there is market interest in providing an Autism Diagnosis Service for Adults, to the CCG. The CCG are looking to commission a comprehensive Services that covers the following: * A Diagnostic Service for adults who may have Asperger's Syndrome or a high-functioning autism condition for whom no current pathway exists. * Timely diagnosis, which will help the individual, families, friends, parents, carers, professionals and colleagues to better understand and manage their needs and behaviour. * Locally managed diagnostic service that incorporate best clinical practice. * Advice and ongoing support post diagnosis. Please find attached a copy of the specification for reference. The Commissioner is considering a 2-year contract period, value estimated at PS48,000.00 per annum. The CCG would like to assess current market appetite to provide this service. Additional information: This is not a call for Competition. The services to which this notice relates fall below the Light Touch Regime threshold set by Public Contracts Regulation 2016. Neither the publication of this notice nor the employment of any particular terminology, nor any other indication shall be taken to mean that the contracting authorities intend to hold themselves bound by any of the Regulations save those applicable to the procurement of these services. Transparency The contracting authority is subject to the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) and the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (EIR) and may be required to disclose information received in the course of this procurement under FOIA or the EIR. In addition, and in accordance with the UK Government's policies on transparency, the contracting authority intends to publish procurement documentation and the text of any resulting contractual arrangements, subject to possible redactions at the discretion of the contracting authority. Any redactions, whether in relation to information requests under FOIA, the EIR or policies on transparency will be in accordance with those grounds prescribed under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and the Environmental Information Regulations 2004.
