Notice Title

Evaluation of Emergency Medicine (EM) Leaders Programme

Notice Description

Health Education England are looking to engage an organisation or consortium that will undertake an evaluation of the four years of the EM Leaders Programme, to measure and evaluate the impact of the EM Leaders Programme using a mixed methods approach methodology. (mixture of quantitative and qualitative methods) The EM Leaders Programme aims to develop leadership skills in Emergency Medicine (EM) Trainees, by developing an innovative and tailored 'spiral programme' in this training area. By focussing on providing leadership training to EM Trainees, the intention is that they will develop the skills needed to support personal resilience, which in turn will reduce attrition and help ensure a successful career pathway in one of the most intense healthcare environments in the NHS. Further detail on the EM Leaders Programme, the expected scope and deliverables of the evaluation exercise and matters related to timelines will be available within the accompanying documentation.
