Health Education England (HEE) is seeking to commission the delivery of a virtual outreach pilot programme for students in Key Stage 3 (ages 11-14). This work forms part of the Talent for Care strategic framework with a particular focus on widening participation to students with special educational needs (SEN) and those in lower set classes. The pilot programme should increase students' understanding of the breadth of healthcare careers available, and raise their aspirations, demonstrating that health careers could be for them. The programme will connect students virtually with a range of healthcare workers. Quotations are invited to deliver this outreach programme within 2021-22. Regular reports and a full evaluation will be required. Further information relating to this project can be found at HEE's e-tendering portal at the link below.
