Notice Description

We invite tenders for a state of the art combined confocal microscope system with fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS) capability for the Centre for Membrane Proteins and Receptors (COMPARE) to be housed in the COMPARE laboratories, University of Nottingham. This is a complex high-end imaging system which must incorporate the features outlined below, including FCS, two colour FCCS, fluorescence lifetime FCS (FLCS/FLCCS), stimulated emission depletion (STED)-FCS and total internal reflection fluorescence microscopy (TIRF-M) to allow the development of multi-point camera based FCS measurements. On this basis, bidders are encouraged to apply for all or individual parts of the system's capabilities as they see fit and consider whether these can be best supported on one or more microscope stands. Additional information: TENDERERS MUST EXPRESS THEIR INTEREST THROUGH FIRST REGISTERING ON THE UNIVERSITY'S E-TENDERING SYSTEM https://in-tendhost.co.uk/universityofnottingham/ Non-compliant expressions of interest (EOI) will not be considered or acknowledged. The university reserves the right to cancel the tender process at any stage. The University does not accept any liability for any costs incurred in tendering.
