Summary of the contracting process

The Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (ACAS), a non-departmental public body funded by the Department for Business and Trade, has concluded the procurement process for its Occupational Health and Employee Assistance Programme. The process was conducted via a call-off from the RM6296 Dynamic Purchasing System, classifying under the health services category, and culminated in an award stage on 26th May 2026. The contract, valued at £180,000, is awarded to Optima Health UK Ltd and spans from 21st May 2026 to 20th May 2028. The procurement method was selective, and the tender aimed to offer health services to ACAS employees located across multiple regions, including the United Kingdom, Europe, and other territories.

This contract presents a significant opportunity for organisations specialising in health services, particularly those with capabilities in providing occupational health and employee assistance programmes. Large-scale businesses like Optima Health UK Ltd, with extensive experience and resources, stand to benefit from this award by expanding their service delivery footprints across diverse regions. The potential for an ongoing partnership with a government-funded body like ACAS provides stability and potential for further future business growth, especially for suppliers within the services sector.
