Notice Description

The focus of this service will be recovery and social inclusion, the idea of building a life beyond mental illness, and will include the ability to work with individuals who may be reluctant to engage. The service will recognise that in order to give people choice, a range of different elements should be provided that include a variety of structured and less structured options. Individuals will be able to agree objectives that reflect their own personal journey of recovery and create the conditions in which they feel empowered to participate in their own community and lead a more independent life away from mental health services. These objectives will focus on finding or creating new social networks and re-engaging as active members of their communities
