Notice Description
It is estimated that Manchester City Council will arrange approximately 120 funerals each year. Approximately 70 of these will be public (welfare) funerals arranged under this contract. The remainder will be private funerals arranged in cases where there are sufficient funds in the estate. These numbers are estimates based on recent years and cannot be guaranteed. This contract is specifically for the public funerals only. However, we would also use the services of the appointed Funeral Director to undertake the private funerals as well. The split is approximately 70% welfare funerals, 30% private funerals
