Notice Description
The Council is looking to award multiple Grass Cutting Service Contracts through geographical Lots across public highways and landscapes in Blackburn with Darwen. Bidders can apply for a single or multiple lots.
Lot Information
LOT 1: Volume grass cutting across the BwD
Highway verges and amenity land, community centres and children play areas
Renewal: 2 x 12 month extension options
LOT 2: Rural verges grass cuttingRural verges and hedges across BwD borough
Renewal: 2 x 12 months extension options
Lot 3: Blackburn 'old' CemeteryGrass cut service that includes a tractor mow of approximately 10% of the land area.
Renewal: 2 x 12 months extension options
LOT 4: Roundabout A6119 highway verges* A6119 verges Whitebirk drive (borough boundary) to Preston New Road through Brownhill Drive, Ramsgreave Drive and Yew Tree Drive. Areas include near side verges, central reservations, roundabout and traffic signal islands.
