NCC555 The Maltings Design Competition, Berwick-upon-Tweed
Notice Description
The aim of this procurement process is for The Maltings to select a multi-disciplinary design team for the design of a new cultural venue for Berwick-upon-Tweed. The Maltings current Eastern Lane venue is no longer fit for purpose and the Maltings (Berwick) Trust is working in partnership with Northumberland County Council to secure Borderlands Inclusive Growth Deal funding to deliver a 21st century venue on the existing site that transforms the customer experience, hosts a significantly enhanced programme, and acts as a major catalyst for the year-round regeneration of Berwick-upon-Tweed.
Lot Information
Lot A
A framework agreement covering the period from April 2022 to March 2026 for carrying out minor civil engineering works, primarily on behalf of Devon County Council but also on behalf of its Partner Organisations. Each Work Order issued through this Lot will have an estimated value of: 01 April 2022 - 31 March 2024: - Lower Limit: N/A - Upper Limit: PS80,000 01 April 2024 - 31 March 2026: - Lower Limit: N/A - Upper Limit: PS88,000 The type of works that are expected to be commissioned will be varied but will primarily involve improving, developing and maintaining the following DCC assets: highways, highway structures, foot/cycleways, waste management sites and flood risk management measures. The framework agreement will be based upon the NEC4 Framework Contract with individual Work Orders based upon the NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract. Tenderers may submit a Tender for a single Lot or Tenders for multiple Lots. There is no limit on the number of Lots a Tenderer may be successful in being awarded a place on. The number of Suppliers awarded a place on each Lot can be found within the Tender Documents. Tenderers should be aware that the authority does not guarantee the number of projects that will actually be undertaken or the number of projects to be carried out by any of the framework Suppliers.
