The procurment conducted by the London Borough of Hackney (LBH or the "Authority") was aimed at appointing a suitably qualified Contractor, to supply tyres and associated tyre maintenance and support services for the Council's fleet of 480 directly owned, leased and hired commercial vehicles.

Lot 1

The Authority's requirements for this service spans a variety of services including roadside support, supply and fitting of new and remoulded tyres and repair of tyres. In order to operate a seamless, coordinated approach to tyres and tyres services, the Authority is looking to appoint a single contractor to provide all elements of the service. The term of the contract will be for a period of three years with extension options as set out below.

Options: an option to extend for a further twelve months subject to ongoing requirements, resources and performance.
