This contract is for unified comms (UC) services which provide the telecommunications network (WAN, LAN and WiFi) across all of NGN's offices and depots.

Procurement Information

There are technical reasons for extending the current contract with Vodafone for 12 months before running a tender event in 2021. These are listed below - Internet Breakout NGN's existing internet breakout contract needs to be combined in the Unified Comms tender, which isn't currently possible. New requirements NGN's need to seek other telco solutions prior to tendering the contract, such as SD WAN or direct WAN internet breakout to give more flexibility to manage the network performance and improve change management and service delivery. Refurbs Prior to tendering, NGN need to have a steady-state network to avoid complexity of scope for the tender.
