The prime objective of the Guardians Scheme is to better connect individuals and communities with the natural and cultural assets of our valleys through wellbeing, learning and volunteering opportunities. Guardians Scheme opportunities offer social, cultural and economic benefits as well as addressing environmental challenges. The Guardians will be responsible for communicating the VRP vision and practical delivery of relevant activities, primarily at Discovery Gateways, but also at appropriate community hubs. Crucially, they will network with existing and developing provision in our Valleys and engage with individuals and communities across the region.",
