The Council was seeking to procure a provider to deliver a service contract for the provision of open access sexual health services for the population of Rotherham, and anyone from outside the borough who requires use of Genito-Urinary Medicine (GUM) on an open access basis.

The Council was seeking to procure a provider to deliver a service contract for the provision of open access sexual health services for the population of Rotherham, and anyone from outside the borough who requires use of Genito-Urinary Medicine (GUM) on an open access basis. . The service includes the full range of contraception services and services for the diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections. It covers adults and young people and includes the responsibility for Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) for HIV and managing payments to other providers who treat Rotherham residents elsewhere in England. . The contract will commence on 01/04/2022 and will run for a period of five years making the expiry date 31/03/2027. The contract will have an option to extend by a further five years in any number or combination of extensions at the sole discretion of the Council, making the latest possible expiry date 31/03/2032
