Subject to negotiation outcome, the deadline for Invitation to Negotiation (ITN) documents should be returned by 22 March 2021. The ITN will be reviewed by both a Commercial and Project team on the 26 March 2021 who will provide their confirmations before 29 March 2021. The Contract should then be placed on the 29 March 2021 - depending on this VTN outcome and review outcome.",

        "procurementMethodRationale": "The Defence Fuels Acquisition Programme (DFAP) intends to place a Contract with Certas UK Limited for the Provision of Ground Fuel (Diesel) to fulfil Army training requirements, using the Negotiated procedure without Prior Publication. The Contract will run for a period of two (2) firm years and one (1) option year and is valued at approximately PS1.3M. On 16 January 2021 DFAP advertised a contract notice indicating a call for competition for this requirement. Responses to the call for competition were required by 16 February 2021. No responses were received to the call for competition. Given no tenders were submitted in response to the competitive procedure, DFAP intends to place this contract pursuant to regulation 32(2)(a) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
