NHS Highland wishes to continue with the provision of a Single Reception Service at the Badenoch and Strathspey Community Hospital in Aviemore. The hospital design is a single reception to service the needs of a multi-tenanted building.
Procurement Information
The GP Practice in the hospital has the largest footfall for patients in relation to other services in the building. Under GMS services, a reception service is required for a GP Practice. The building design and workforce plan and seek to gain economies scale for all occupants of the hospital through provision of a single reception service. The Aviemore GP Practice are the only possible provider of this service, other providers will not occupy the hospital.
