Summary of the contracting process

The NHS South of England Procurement Services is organising a virtual 'Meet the Buyer' event titled "F13401(M) Supported Living" on 20th April 2021, from 2 to 4 PM. This event, part of the planning stage for a planned tender, aims to engage care and housing providers in a collaboration to develop a supported living programme, aligned with the NHS Long Term Plan's commitment to improving community support for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions. The registration deadline for participating organisations is midday on 19th April 2021, with important documentation available from 13th April 2021.

This tender presents a substantial opportunity for businesses in the health services sector, particularly those focusing on care and housing solutions. Small, medium, and national enterprises are encouraged to participate, particularly if they can cater to the complex and individualised needs of the target population. Engaging in this initiative could provide a pathway for growth and collaboration within the healthcare sector, as the NHS prioritises innovative solutions to enhance community support frameworks.

F13401(M) Supported Living Meet the Buyer Event (Virtual)

Notice Description

Following on from a positive response to our Request for Information, which closed in December 2020, we invite the respondents and our wider community of care and housing providers to join a virtual 'Meet the Buyer' event. Hosted by commissioning and procurement colleagues of the newly merged NHS Hampshire, Southampton and Isle of Wight Clinical Commissioning Group, this will take place on Tuesday 20th April 2021 from 2 - 4pm. Transforming Care - Fit for the Future The NHS Long Term Plan renewed the commitment to reduce the over reliance on inpatient beds and strengthen the community infrastructure to support people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health conditions to live well in their communities. NHS England continue to prioritise capital funding to support the delivery of the Transforming Care Programme, now Learning Disability and Autism Programme (LADP), to deliver the national service model as set out in Building the Right Support. The CCG wishes to engage the market in developing an exciting and dynamic supported living programme for the newly integrated CCG and will be setting out proposals for a contract framework planned to be tendered in 2021. We are keen to include small, medium and national enterprises in a collaborative model, who can play a part in meeting the highly individualised complex needs of the population, served by the regional Learning Disability and Autism Programme.
