    "description": "STFC, a component Research Council of UKRI, is a world-leading multi-disciplinary science organisation, whose goal is to deliver economic, societal, scientific and international benefits to the UK and more broadly to the world. Building work is currently underway at RAL for the EPAC facility. UKRI, wishes to purchase a minimum of one laser system to be used as the seed for a picosecond OPCPA pre-amplifier that will provide amplified pulses with an energy of up to 2mJ, as part of the EPAC Project. The minimum scope of the contract is for the supply of one laser system (PS140K or PS192K ex-VAT for the initial purchase), with the ability to purchase up to an additional two laser systems at a later date (A maximum potential spend of up to PS700,000.00 ex-VAT).
