CHIC Consultancy Services Framework 2021
Notice Description
The Communities & Housing Investment Consortium (CHIC) Ltd is a not-for-profit organisation. It currently has over one hundred members which consist of Housing Associations and Local Authorities with housing stock, which service over half a million social housing homes across the UK. CHIC has now awarded Framework status to suitably qualified and experienced consultants in order to select consultants via competition of direct award to enter into contracts to provide Multi-disciplinary Building Consultancy Services for their Members.
Lot Information
Integrated Consultancy Team (ICT)
CHIC has appointed Integrated Consultancy Teams(ICTs) a multi-disciplinary team comprising Building Surveying services, Contract Administration, Employers Agent, Quantity Surveying services, and Principal Designer and any other roles that may be required to support the delivery of high quality, on time, on budget works.
Structural EngineerAppointment of consultants which will include design responsibility, ensuring authority and stakeholder consent, construction supervision and contract management in the capacity of structural works.
Facade ConsultancyAppointment of consultant which will include design responsibility, ensuring authority and stakeholder consent, construction supervision and contract management in the capacity of works to building fabric.
Fire EngineerAppointment of consultant which will include design responsibility, ensuring authority and stakeholder consent, construction supervision and contract management in the capacity of fire engineering works.
Business Audit ServicesAppointment of consultant to undertake control audits of authority's policies, procedures, documentation training/competency and record keeping. The consultant shall report on findings and recommendations appropriate in assisting in control and compliance. It will be the appointed Consultant's remit to work alongside any client's compliance team to provide (but not limited to) Technical support, Quality assurance, Financial tracking and control Compliance reporting, IT and administration support for any systems provided.
Housing Asset Management ConsultancyConsultancy services in relation to built assets (buildings and infrastructure) to provide asset management pertaining to operations, maintenance, finance, economics and engineering in order to provide the most cost-effective, sustainable and functional solutions.
