Summary of the contracting process

The Nottinghamshire County Council is currently conducting a tender for a framework to provide Therapeutic services for children adopted and placed under special guardianship orders within the Adoption East Midlands (AEM) region. The procurement, categorized under social work services, involves various therapeutic approaches and is part of a selective process that allows for competition among providers. Interested businesses must submit their bids by 14th May 2021. This framework agreement will be initially established for four years, with the potential for two additional one-year extensions.

This tender presents significant opportunities for organisations specialising in therapeutic interventions, particularly those with expertise in areas such as play therapy, creative therapy, and psychotherapy. Businesses that hold relevant qualifications and can deliver services in diverse settings would be particularly well-suited to participate. The framework's open nature encourages new entrants to the market, making it a favourable prospect for small to medium-sized enterprises looking to expand their services within the health and social care sector in the UK.
