Your Housing Group Legal Services Framework Agreement 2021-2025
Notice Description
Your Housing Group wishes to establish a Legal Services Framework Agreement to provide legal advice and support to the business across five lots. These lots are Development and Specialist Property Transactions (Lot 1), Sales and Routine Property Transactions (Lot 2), Corporate and Finance (Lot 3), Employment and HR (Lot 4) and Housing Management Including Out of Hours Service (Lot 5). The panel will be established for four (4) years. Expenditure across the panel will vary according to business activity. As a guide expenditure across all lots was approximately GBP2.5m in 2019-2020. Lot Information
Lot 1: Development and Specialist Property Transactions
This Lot (1) is for the provision of legal advice in respect of Development and Specialist Property Transactions. This includes but is not limited to acquisitions and disposals of land and property, site and property development including associated plot sales, environmental and planning, construction, compulsory purchase, procurement and contractual matters in relation to development, PFI/JV and specialist property transactions and stock rationalisation. Additional information: The estimated value is in the region of 1,000,000 GBP for Lot 1 over the total 4 years of the Framework Agreement.
Lot 2: Sales and Routine Property TransactionsThis Lot (2) is for the provision of legal advice in respect of Sales and Routine Property Transactions. This includes but is not limited to Right to Buy / Right to Acquire, Staircasing and Assignments, outright sales, leases, lease extensions, licensing and conveyancing. The number of transactions and annual expenditure will fluctuate according to business activity. Additional information: The estimated value for Lot 2 is in the region of 500,000 GBP over the total 4 years of the Framework Agreement.
Lot 3: Corporate and FinanceThis Lot (3) is for the provision of legal advice in respect of Corporate and Finance Transactions. This includes but is not limited to group structures, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, regulatory requirements, company and charity law, loan facilities, property charging, multi-disciplinary legal support, procurement and contractual matters and legal advice in respect of taxation, insurance and investments. Additional information: The estimated value is in the region of 1,000,000 GBP for Lot 3 over the total 4 years of the Framework Agreement.
Lot 4: Employment and HRThis Lot (4) is for the provision of legal advice in respect of Employment. This includes but is not limited to employment law, TUPE, equal opportunities, pensions, employment disputes and organisational change. Additional information: The estimated value is in the region of 300,000 for Lot 4 over the total 4 years of the Framework Agreement.
Lot 5: Housing Management Including Out of Hours ServiceThis Lot (5) is for the provision of legal advice in respect of Housing Management. This includes but is not limited to ASB cases, possession proceedings, injunctions, debt recovery, disrepair, rent and service charge matters, leaseholder consultations, tenancy agreements and policy and procedural change. Additional information: The estimated value is in the region of 1,000,000 for Lot 5 over the total 4 years of the Framework Agreement.
