Summary of the contracting process

The University of Edinburgh is currently inviting tenders for the "EC0900 Lot 13 - DNA & RNA Extraction" project, part of a broader framework aimed at providing Sequencing and Genotyping services. This open procurement process is active and the submission deadline is set for 9 June 2021. The tender falls under the research services category, with delivery services primarily expected in the Edinburgh area (UKM75). The process seeks to establish several Framework Agreements to support future project needs, with a maximum of 10 participants allowed in the framework. Tenders must be submitted electronically, complying with the established selection criteria.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses specialising in sequencing and genotyping services, particularly those with relevant experience and the necessary financial stability to meet the qualification criteria. Companies that have a proven track record in delivering high-quality research services will be well-suited to compete, especially those equipped with the appropriate certifications and insurance coverage. The duration of the framework offers the potential for long-term partnerships, making this an attractive opportunity for suppliers looking to expand their market presence in the education sector.
