The Provision is voluntary and aims to tackle worklessness of unemployed and inactive individuals from troubled families to move them into sustained work. The provision engages with the family and individuals to identify and address barriers to work, by developing close working arrangements with other local services involved in the support of the troubled family (for example Local Authorities), and using a range of tailored support/provision which will move them into sustained work at the earliest opportunity.
