Notice Description

Coventry City Council and Warwickshire County Council are jointly re-procuring a framework agreement to take effect from 1 January 2022. Coventry City Council is leading the procurement on behalf of the two local authorities. The framework will provide for: * residential rehabilitation placements for Coventry and Warwickshire * inpatient detox treatment for Warwickshire only

Lot Information

General Residential Rehabilitation

The Provider will deliver a highly structured, personalised and timetabled programme of intensive psychosocial support and a structured programme of daily activities that focuses on: * Self-help techniques including relapse prevention * Psychosocial interventions * Group therapy * Individual work * Education programmes including where appropriate parenting support * Harm reduction advice and information * Support for clients in relation to their families where appropriate

Specialist - Single sex

To include gender-specific accommodation and therapeutic interventions; this may for example provide specialist input to address gender-specific sexual abuse and gender-specific complex needs (eg sex workers)

Specialist - Dual Diagnosis / mental health

To include accommodation and therapeutic interventions for clients with diagnosed mental health conditions typically requiring significant on-site extra support and clinical oversight from a consultant psychologist/psychiatrist. Provision may typically include onsite support around post-trauma stress disorder, support around diagnosed psychotic and neurotic disorders, personality disorders for people with cooccurring substance misuse issues.

Specialist - Family Units

To include accommodation and therapeutic interventions for clients who are pregnant or with accompanying children aged up to 5 years

Specialist - Complex physical, care and other support needs

To include accommodation and therapeutic interventions for clients with complex physical needs, typically including onsite wound management, facilities for Service Users who are disabled or with significant mobility difficulties, onsite support with severe diagnosed COPD and facilities to support people with a very high or very low BMI, etc. Further specialist provision not covered by other lots, which may include, for example, specialist support for former members of the armed forces, Service Users with convictions for arson, Service Users engaged in chemsex, Service Users with significant learning difficulties.

IP Detox (Warwickshire CC Only)

The aim of the service is to provide high-quality, easily accessible, Inpatient Detoxification placements for individuals who have been assessed as needing this level of intervention as part of their recovery plan. In addition to meeting the substance misuse treatment needs the interventions should also contribute to a range of other domains including but not limited to improving physical and mental health and wellbeing, enabling social reintegration, reducing substance-related offending, and reducing the negative impact on families and the communities.
