Notice Description
Babcock Land Defence Ltd, acting as the UK Ministry of Defence's agent, intends to negotiate a single source contract with Rheinmetall BAE Systems Land (RBSL) for the repair and refurbishment of Fire Suppression Equipment, for the CR2, CRARRV, Titan/Trojan (T2), Warrior, Bulldog, CVR(T) , BRV and Terrier platforms.

Babcock Land Defence Ltd, acting as the UK Ministry of Defence's agent, intends to negotiate a single source contract with Rheinmetall BAE Systems Land (RBSL) for the repair and refurbishment of Fire Suppression Equipment, for the CR2, CRARRV, Titan/Trojan (T2), Warrior, Bulldog, CVR(T) , BRV and Terrier platforms and associated items with a duration of 2 years with 2 x 1 option years should this be required and subject to satisfactory supplier performance. The Authority reserves the right to add items of a similar nature to the contract during its lifetime. Additional information: This notice is not a request for expressions of interest so please do not apply to be invited to tender. This notice advises that the UK Ministry of Defence is to place a single source Qualifying Defence Contract with the named supplier to satisfy repairs to critical assets whilst an enduring solution is progressed.
Options: 2 x 1 option years should this be required and subject to satisfactory supplier performance.
Procurement Information
It is considered that this Contract can be placed using the Negotiated procedure without prior publication pursuant to Regulation 16(1)(a)(ii) of the UK Defence and Security Public Contract Regulations 2011 - L'Hotellier are the original equipment manufacturer and the owner of the design drawing/information, technical specifications and technical expertise ("technical knowhow") required to supply and to undertake proof testing of this article and have confirmed that RBSL is their nominated UK Agent.
