Notice Description
The focus of this commission is individuals who are exploring business start-up as an employment / lifestyle option. The support package will need to cover key areas to support participants to consider business start up and how to overcome any barriers that would prevent them exploring the opportunity further.

The West Yorkshire Combined Authority (the Combined Authority) and the Leeds City Region Local Enterprise Partnership (the LEP), is seeking to appoint a Single Service Delivery Provider or Group with a 'Lead Operator' to complement and add value to the existing support available across West Yorkshire for business start-ups.The target market is individuals considering starting a business and to provide an 'Exploring Enterprise' programme of support. The focus of this commission is to support a range of individuals of all ages and backgrounds to 'explore' if a new business start-up is the right career pathway for them (an outcome can be 'this is not or me'). Other support is being commissioned by the Combined Authority / LEP to help people start-up a business
Options: The contract will be for an initial term of 18 months with a value of PS350,000, with an option to extend based upon successful performance and at the discretion of the CA for a further 18 months and additional value of PS350,000.
