Summary of the contracting process

The London Borough of Ealing is currently engaged in a tender process for the Ealing Community Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services, which falls under health and social work services. The contract has reached the planning stage as of 5th July 2021, and the local authority has indicated a focus on co-produced redesign, emphasising early intervention. Due to the impacts of COVID-19, they have decided to extend the review period for partner engagement instead of progressing to further expressions of interest at this time. Contact details for enquiries include Ms Christine Baker at bakerc@ealing.gov.uk.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in health and social care services, particularly those focused on early intervention and mental health support. Companies with expertise in co-designing community health services or those that offer innovative solutions to mental health challenges for children and adolescents would be well-suited to compete. Opportunities may include partnerships with local stakeholders, providing specialised training and support, or delivering community-based interventions.
