Framework Agreement for Provision of Body Conveying
Notice Description
Northumberland County Council have awarded a Framework Agreement of suitable providers to carry out the provision of body conveying. When a death occurs, and it is reportable to HM Coroner, there is a requirement to arrange for the deceased to be conveyed from the place of death to an appropriate mortuary facility, or other such location as authorised by HM Coroner or their representative, pending a post-mortem examination. The Framework Agreement has been awarded in the following lots in order to cover certain areas of Northumberland: Framework Lots: Lot 3 - West Northumberland Lot 4 - South East Northumberland
Lot Information
West Northumberland
The services are required for the area of West Northumberland. Northumberland County Council have awarded a Framework Agreement of suitable providers to carry out the provision of body conveying. When a death occurs, and it is reportable to HM Coroner, there is a requirement to arrange for the deceased to be conveyed from the place of death to an appropriate mortuary facility, or other such location as authorised by HM Coroner or their representative, pending a post-mortem examination.
Options: Option to extended by a further 2 x 12 month periods.
South East NorthumberlandThe services are required for the area of South East Northumberland. Northumberland County Council have awarded a Framework Agreement of suitable providers to carry out the provision of body conveying. When a death occurs, and it is reportable to HM Coroner, there is a requirement to arrange for the deceased to be conveyed from the place of death to an appropriate mortuary facility, or other such location as authorised by HM Coroner or their representative, pending a post-mortem examination.
Options: Option to extended by a further 2 x 12 month periods.
