This is a Contract Award for a Principal Designer to support the UK Geoenergy Observatories project (UKGEOS). The Contract was awarded following a negotiated procedure without prior publication, in accordance with Regulation 32(2)(b)(ii) of the Public Contract Regulations.

This is a Contract Award for a Principal Designer to support the UK Geoenergy Observatories project (UKGEOS). The consultant is required to: *Complete the Cheshire site Scope (document describing the infrastructure works to be constructed, this includes a series of specifications and construction drawings) *Develop the procurement cost model *Respond to technical queries/clarifications during the procurement process *Facilitate discharge of planning conditions *Provide the Principal Designer role prior to start on site and during construction and responding to any technical queries/clarifications. *Attendance at progress and board meetings *Environmental: ecological visits prior to construction works; review of CEMP; Project Ecologist during construction. *Complete the health and safety and Operation and Maintenance manuals post completion of the construction works in collaboration with the Principal Contractor.
