Summary of the contracting process

The Department for Education is seeking tenders for the "Turing Scheme Administration Services" under a selective procurement method, specifically a restricted procedure. This process is currently active and will award a single contract potentially valued at £6.9 million. The contract period is slated to commence on 22nd November 2021, extending until 31st December 2023, and involves nationwide delivery across the UK. Interested suppliers must submit their tenders by 20th August 2021 and demonstrate their capability to commence accepting bids for funding no later than February 2022.

This procurement presents an excellent opportunity for businesses specialising in administrative and educational services, particularly those familiar with government contracts and grant administration. Companies capable of delivering comprehensive management services for educational funding schemes will find this tender aligns well with their expertise. This contract is particularly suited to single legal entities, as the Department for Education will not accept bids from consortia proposing joint and several liability, making it essential for businesses to demonstrate robust individual capabilities.
