Summary of the contracting process

Westminster City Council is planning the recommissioning of Residential & Funded Nursing Care Services at Beachcroft Care Home, classified under community health services. The authority aims to host a virtual market engagement event on 11 August 2021 to gather feedback and discuss the service model with interested providers. Providers must register their interest via the e-tendering portal by 17:00 on 6 August 2021. This initiative follows an open tender earlier in the year where no contract was awarded, indicating an opportunity for service providers to actively participate in shaping future service delivery.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in residential and dementia care services, particularly those experienced in supporting vulnerable adults. The virtual market engagement event is an ideal platform for businesses to showcase their capabilities and gain insights into Westminster's vision for personalised, outcome-based services. By attending, providers can gather valuable information about market trends and expectations, which can help them refine their service offerings to better meet the needs of the council and the community.
