Notice Description
The BBC is working on plans to relocate their primary archive collections in 2024. The photography collection includes a wide variety of formats and content. Of the 6 million items in the collection we have selected approximately 1.36million items that are candidates for digitisation. These digital assets will be used for access, preservation and commercial purposes. The assets are currently stored well but the condition and the data is of variable quality and in a wide variety of formats.

Additional information: Responding to this RFI is not a prerequisite for participation in a subsequent procurement, nor does it give any advantage in that procurement.For the avoidance of doubt, any information provided to the BBC in response to this RFI will be treated as confidential and non-binding. No contract will be awarded as a consequence of this RFI process
