Our aim is that every child, no matter what challenges they face, should have access to an excellent education that prepares them for life in the modern world. DfE Priorities The Department has outlined the following priority outcomes for delivery: Providing the best start in life: high-quality early education and childcare to raise standards and help parents to work; Levelling up education standards: so that children and young people in all areas of the country are prepared with the knowledge, skills and qualifications they need; Driving economic growth: improve the skills pipeline and support people to work; and Support for the most disadvantaged and vulnerable: to ensure no one is left behind. Our post-16 investment opportunities centre on levelling up education standards by driving up the quality of teaching for all and driving economic growth through increasing the number of people with higher-level STEM skills in the employment pipeline. The new contract beginning on 1st July 2022 will continue to deliver the aims of the AMSP and will run for two years. DfE, at its sole discretion, has an option to extend until 31 July 2025. in multiples of its choice. Any such extension will be subject to the relevant DfE approvals and notifications.",

        "reviewDetails": "The Authority will incorporate a voluntary minimum 10 calendar day standstill period at the point information on the award of the Contract is communicated to tenderers. Applicants who are unsuccessful shall be informed by the Authority as soon as possible after the decision has been made as to the reasons why the Applicant was unsuccessful. If any clarification regarding the award of the Contract has not been successfully resolved, The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (SI 2015 No. 102) provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by breach of the rules to take legal action. Any such action must be brought within the applicable limitation period. Where a contract has not been entered into, the Court may order the setting aside of the award decision or order the Authority to amend any document and may award damages. If a contract has been entered into the Court may, depending on the circumstances, award damages, make a declaration of ineffectiveness, order the Authority to pay a fine, and/or order that the duration of the contract be shortened. The purpose of the voluntary standstill period referred to above is to allow the parties to apply to the Courts to set aside the award decision before the Contract is entered into",
