Yorkshire Water Services Limited ("YWS") is entering agreements to facilitate the sale of all biogas produced through its anaerobic digestion ("AD") processes at its Knostrop wastewater treatment works, in Leeds, (Lot 1) and Blackburn Meadows wastewater treatment works in Sheffield (Lot 2).

Yorkshire Water Services Limited ("YWS") is entering agreements for the design, build, financing, operation and maintenance ("DBFOM") of biogas upgrading and export facilities, including biogas pre-treatment, to facilitate the sale of biomethane. Knostrop wastewater treatment works hosts a large AD facility, historically producing 14-15 million Normal Cubic Meters ("Nm3")of biogas annually, which is presently used in combined heat and power ("CHP") engines. Following installation of the biogas upgrading and export facilities, all biogas produced on-site will instead be directed to these new facilities, operated by the [appointed Service Provider].
Options: Possibility to extend 5 years beyond initial term
