Summary of the contracting process

In April 2026, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) awarded a contract titled "Increasing feedback through digital advertising," classified under advertising campaign services. The procurement process, completed through the CCS Communications Marketplace DPS (RM6124), followed a restricted procedure. The contract is set for an initial 12-month term, with potential extensions up to 24 months at annual intervals. The services will be delivered in the UK, aiming to support CQC's public behaviour change campaign within the health sector. The contract, signed on 8th April 2026, involves a total value of £232,800.

Businesses specialising in digital marketing can seize this opportunity to enhance digital advertising campaigns. With a strong emphasis on quality, which accounts for 75% of the evaluation criteria, creative agencies with experience in digital marketing for public health campaigns are well-suited to compete. This tender offers growth prospects for SMEs, like Barley Communications Limited, who have been awarded the contract, reinforcing the opportunity for smaller entities to access large-scale projects in the government sector.
