Summary of the contracting process

Norfolk County Council is currently managing a public procurement process for a contract titled "Social Recovery for 15 to 18 year olds," categorized under health and social work services. The procurement is in the active tender stage, with a total value of £100,000. Bids must be submitted electronically through the Council's e-procurement system by 6 December 2021, with the successful provider expected to deliver support to young people who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET). The project aims to help those in year 11 and young adults aged 16-18 who require emotional health and wellbeing assistance.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses that specialise in social work, counselling services, or educational support, especially those with experience in engaging with young people and addressing emotional health needs. Organisations already involved in community service initiatives or those with a strong background in holistic support frameworks will be particularly well-suited to compete. The potential for contract extension, subject to further funding and satisfactory performance, could allow providers to establish a longer-term relationship with Norfolk County Council, thereby fostering business growth and impact in the community.
