This is a prior information notice to give advance notification to potential suppliers that may be interested in discussing with the Commissioners the requirements of the service and applying for this future contract opportunity. The Health and Social Care Act 2012 requires each local authority to have in place a local Healthwatch organisation. HWTH statutory functions and duties are available at Healthwatch England Website Tower Hamlets Council is committed to ensuring our local Healthwatch can be an effective consumer champion for our residents and make a difference through contributing and achieving improvements in the borough's health and care system. The Council has agreed a refined service model for Healthwatch Tower Hamlets (HWTH) which draws on best practice and builds on the local achievements of our current provider.
