NHS Health Checks Catch-Up Programme
Notice Description
Norfolk County Council Public Health has awarded a contract to deliver an NHS Health Check Outreach service on a fixed-term basis to assist in a catch-up project for the NHS Health Check programme within the County . The NHS Health Check programme is a public health programme in England for people aged 40 - 74 which aims to keep people well for longer, as described in detail at http://www.healthcheck.nhs.uk. In Norfolk, NHS Health Checks are predominantly delivered in GP and Pharmacy settings, however as a result of the COVID pandemic, primary care has experienced significant disruption throughout 2020/21, which has impacted the delivery of this programme.

Renewal: The Contract may be extended by up to 12 months, at the Council's discretion.
