Summary of the contracting process

Wiltshire Council is seeking proposals for the HC1021 CYP Substance Misuse Services, focused on delivering health and social work services aimed at young individuals vulnerable to substance misuse. The procurement is currently at the Tender stage, with submissions due by 22nd November 2021. The service is specified to support young people up to 18 years old in improving their health and life chances through a collaborative approach with other service providers. The contract is scheduled to commence on 1st April 2022 and will run until 31st March 2023, with an open procurement method facilitating bids from interested parties.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in health and social care services, particularly those with expertise in substance misuse prevention and treatment for youth. Companies offering innovative therapeutic interventions, educational programmes, or care packages tailored for young people could gain a competitive edge. Collaborations with established service providers and evidence of successful past projects will likely strengthen bids, making this a valuable opportunity for businesses aiming to expand their reach in the health and social services sector.
