Lot 1

Roads Service wishes to procure a Traffic Data Management System which will interface with all the traffic counting equipment currently in use. The system must be capable of reading data files from all traffic counting equipment currently in use and bespoke spreadsheet and text files from external survey companies. Any office based IT equipment necessary to support the system will be provided by Roads Service and all data will be stored on a single central database located within the NICS network. The initial contract period will be 3 years, with options to extend annually for a further 5 years. All necessary support and maintenance must be provided for the duration of the contract.
