Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council (The Contracting Authority) is acting as Lead Authority on behalf of the CLAIRE Wales Group and is awarding a Framework Agreement for the provision of textiles and media materials reuse and recycling Services.

Textile materials from household waste recycling centres (HWRCs) and bring sites

The fundamental purpose of the Framework is to provide a reliable, effective, and satisfactory service for the reuse and recycling of textiles materials from individual local authorities specified locations in the Collaborating Local Authorities in Resource Efficiency (CLAIRE) Wales Group of Local Authorities. For the avoidance of doubt, textiles include all clothing and shoes, whereby, clothing includes all garments, such as belts, hats, bags, etc.

Renewal: The fixed term of the Framework will be 36 month. there will be an optional extension of a further 12 months available taking the total potential term to 48 months

The fundamental purpose of the Framework is to provide a reliable, effective, and satisfactory service for the reuse and recycling of textiles materials from individual local authorities specified locations in the Collaborating Local Authorities in Resource Efficiency (CLAIRE) Wales Group of Local Authorities.
