Circa 30 Local Authorities are being invited to participate in the Programme which will comprise of the following: * 1 City Region * 17 large cities and towns * 2 London Boroughs * 5 medium cities and towns * 5 small cities and towns These are geographically spread across the 9 regions of England. The largest cities are those where the zones are most likely to be identified. The smallest town that will participate is likely to be 20,000 residents, which will help the Department to determine the likely extension to which a heat network zoning methodology might apply, and the approach overall will help us identify urban typologies in which zones may or may not be identified. The participating cities and towns will be confirmed on appointment. See section I.3) for access to procurement documentation. UK SBS will be using the Delta eSourcing Portal for this procurement. Renewal: The Framework Agreement duration shall be for a period of 1 year with optional extensions of a 1 year plus 1 year period (1+1+1) from commencement of the Framework Agreement.
