Notice Description
Suffolk County Council is appointing a provider to support people to live with their Shared Lives carer and their family on either a short-term or a long-term basis. The service can also provide for people who need daytime care only.
Lot Information
Lot 1
To operate and manage the 'Shared Lives' contract. A Shared Lives provider will charge a management fee to cover the administration of the service and a weekly fee is paid to the Shared Lives carer for the care and support of the individual.
Procurement Information
In accordance with Regulation 32(2)(b)(ii) competition is absent for technical reasons where no reasonable alternative exists. Market research has not identified any other provider capable of providing the service in the timescales avaiable.
