                "description": "Bullers Wood Multi Academy Trust was formed in February 2018 following a successful application under the Free Schools programme to open a secondary boys' school to join the existing and very successful girls' secondary school and 6th form college. The Trust employees approximately 300 staff and educates 2260 students. Constructed across multiple building on an historic estate, Bullers Wood School for Girls and 6th Form is located in Chislehurst, Kent. There are approximately 1100 students in years 7-11 and 440 co-ed students in years 11 and 12. Just up the road, the new state-of-the-art Bullers Wood School for Boys, currently provides education to 720 students in years 7-10. After 2 1/2 years in temporary accommodation, the Boys moved into their new building in February 2021. In September 2022, the final 180 student cohort will join and complete the school with a capacity of 900 students. The tender project is seeking to appoint a contractor whose initiative and innovation will be welcomed for the provision of cleaning services within the facilities for each school in the Trust. The high-quality service levels proposed, should maintain excellent standards throughout, resulting in a pleasant environment for both the pupils and staff at all schools. The basis and rationale that the Client requires the successful contractor to operate to at all times, is being able to provide a School that is fit for purpose and that the Contractor is proactive in the management of the contract, thus ensuring that all specifications are achieved and that the frequency of cleans is as detailed within the Tender Specification. The contract being tendered is for three years in duration from 1 September 2022 until 31 August 2025 with an option to extend for up to a further 2 years at the discretion of the client. The contract will be fixed price in nature, with the Contractor invoicing the Client for one-twelfth of the annual cost on a monthly basis. It should be noted that the successful contractor will be expected to bring to the contract: innovation; new equipment; and cleaning methods, with BICSc standards being achieved, as a minimum, thus ensuring that the highest levels of cleanliness are maintained in all areas at all times and also ensuring that the productivity of the cleaning operatives is enhanced moving forward into the new contract term. Please note also note that this is a growing Trust. Should any other schools join this Trust during the course of this contract, these schools may, at the discretion of the client, be added to this cleaning contract.
