Summary of the contracting process

The Ministry of Defence has completed a procurement process titled "Maritime Modular Platform PDS & Spares", which falls under the Repair and Maintenance Services category. The procurement method used was a limited negotiation without the publication of a contract notice, specifically invoked under the UK Defence and Security Public Contract Regulations. The awarded contract, valued at £1,511,250, was signed on 22nd June 2021 and is currently active. The delivery location for the services is within the UK.

This contract presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly those specialising in maritime systems, equipment maintenance, and technical support services. Companies with expertise in repair and maintenance services who can demonstrate relevant technical capabilities may find this a suitable tender to pursue, especially given the specific needs of defence operations and the niche nature of the goods and services being procured.
