Summary of the contracting process

The United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) is conducting the Project Delivery Services Framework tender, classified under project-management services, with a total estimated value of £9,500,000. This procurement process is intended to enhance the availability of seconded professional workers to support various projects and programmes. The framework agreement has a duration of four years, with an optional one-year extension, and allows for the selection of one to three suppliers per lot. Key dates include the tender submission deadline of 10th December 2021 and an invitation for the second stage occurring on 20th December 2021, as well as a minimum 10-calendar day standstill period post-award notification for debriefing purposes.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in project management and professional services. Firms with capabilities in areas such as technical project management, construction management, risk management, and related fields would be well-positioned to compete. As this involves a framework agreement with multiple lots, suppliers from both large-scale organisations and SMEs can find suitable roles within the six described professional lots, contributing their expertise to deliver skilled professional support to the UKAEA’s projects.
